Dressing Up For Summer Weddings

0

The wedding season is almost back again, and a number of people are getting ready for romantic summer weddings. However, for most of us who attend these events as guests,we’re trying to decide on the perfect outfit. This duty can become a painful and tedious task. Given below are a few pointers that should make the decision easier.

• Take clues from what the invitation says. If it is ultra formal or white tie, then go for a long gown, otherwise short sleeveless dresses and strappy sandals are great for both daytime and evening weddings.

• You can wear dark colors and prominent makeup for the nights, but chose pastels and floral for daytime weddings.

• Don’t go for heavy make up, jewelry or complicated mousse/gel filled hairdos, especially in very hot and humid climates.

• Go for chiffons and georgettes or crepes and organza if you are a silk fan. Avoid heavy and stiff fabrics.

• Don’t dress up in shades of white. Leave them for the bride. Dress modestly, there is no need to show skin at any type of wedding.

If you have quite a few weddings to attend this season, and not a lot of cash to spare, you can buy your dresses from stores selling wholesale special occasion apparel. There are a number of good online stores that stock wholesale special occasion apparel.
